Why supply did not decrease

Inventory didn’t change.

A logged dose draws down a profile only when the routine is attached, Pro inventory access is on, the dose reads as a finite amount above zero with a unit, that unit converts to the profile’s, and the balance is not conflicted — otherwise the dose logs and the draw is zero.

A logged dose draws down a profile only when all of these hold: the routine is attached to it; Pro inventory access is on; the dose reads as a finite amount above zero with a unit; that unit converts to the profile’s tracked unit — the same unit, the same family by factor (mg, mcg and g; mL and cc; tablets and capsules), or across families by the profile’s concentration (mg via mg/mL, IU via IU/mL); and the balance is not conflicted. Otherwise the dose still logs and the draw is zero — nothing is invented.

Check it is attached

  1. Open the routine › Edit › Inventory › Vial / inventory must name the profile. The routine’s detail also lists Inventory when attached.

Check the units

  1. Read the Inventory footer: "<profile> doesn’t track a unit yet, so logs won’t subtract from it." — give the profile a remaining amount and unit; "Add a concentration (or strength + diluent) to <profile> so this dose can subtract from it." — an IU or mass dose against a volume-tracked profile needs the bridge; "IU doses can’t draw from a mg-tracked supply — activity and mass don’t convert without substance-specific potency." — no conversion exists; "<unit> can’t be converted to <unit>, so logs won’t subtract from <profile>."
An Inventory section of the Edit Routine form with a Vial / inventory picker reading HCG vial and the footer Add a concentration (or strength + diluent) to HCG vial so this dose can subtract from it.
Fictional routine: the footer says exactly why this dose cannot subtract from the attached profile, before anything is logged.

Check the dose text

  1. "Add a dose (like 250 mcg) so logs can subtract from <profile>." or "This dose can’t be read as an amount + unit, so logs won’t subtract from <profile>. Try a form like 250 mcg or 0.35 mL." — fix the Dose field; a dose corrected in Edit log is re-applied from the new amount.

What changes

With all the conditions above met — including an unconflicted balance, which the footer does not check — each new log draws the converted amount once the footer returns to "Optional. Each logged dose subtracts from the attached profile when the units match."; the profile’s Supply history gains a Consumption row, and the program’s analytics count it under "Supply used". Earlier logs are not re-applied.

If it looks different

The Restock sheet refuses with "IU doesn’t convert to mL for this profile. Your entry stays as typed."?
The same conversion rule, at restock.
"Counts disagree. The balance is unsettled until the conflict is resolved."?
A conflicted balance draws nothing until resolved; see the reverse-or-retract guide.

The attachment is kept but nothing draws — "Inventory changes require Keel Pro."
The Restock sheet showing the message IU doesn’t convert to mL for this profile, with the typed amount 5 still in the field.
When a unit can’t convert, the sheet says so and keeps what you typed; nothing is changed.

These checks explain arithmetic on your own entries; Keel never suggests a dose, a unit or a concentration.
