Read the Oil-Based Calculator

Enter your weekly amount, the concentration printed on your vial and your schedule, and read back what those numbers mean: the draw per injection, its syringe units, and how long a vial lasts — your own values, saved nowhere.

Before you begin

It is free; only From Your Routine (Pro) is gated. There is no error text: results stay hidden until weekly dose, schedule and concentration are all numbers above zero.

Keel tracks. It never advises. This calculator divides and multiplies the numbers you enter; nothing here suggests an amount, a concentration or a schedule.

Steps

  1. Open Tools › Calculators › Oil-Based Calculator.
  2. Under Your dose, enter Weekly dose in mg. It has no presets.
  3. Enter Concentration in mg/mL as printed on the vial; the chips (50–400) are shortcuts only for a value already on the label.
  4. Under Injection schedule, select the schedule you already follow: ED, Every 36h, EOD, E3D, Twice weekly, Weekly, Bi-weekly or Custom. From Tools the screen opens on Twice weekly — a starting position, not a suggestion.
    • Custom adds an Every field in days.
  5. Optional: under Your vial, enter Vial size in mL (above zero, or the supply section stays hidden).
  6. Optional: enter Number of vials (from Tools it starts at 1; empty, invalid or below one counts as one).
  7. Read the result card: DRAW PER INJECTION in mL, ON YOUR SYRINGE in units (on an insulin barrel), then Per injection (mg), Injections per week and Weekly volume (mL). The footer reads "Calculated from your values."
  8. Read Your supply: On hand, Injections per vial, Total injections, Supply lasts about (weeks) and Runs out around (a date counted from today).
  9. Under Your syringe, pick the barrel you use; the drawing and On this syringe show the draw on it.

What you’ll see

Results appear only while Weekly dose, a schedule and Concentration are all valid; empty or zero hides the card rather than showing an error. Injections per vial is the whole number of draws that fit; Runs out around counts from today, so it changes day to day.

ON YOUR SYRINGE appears only for the insulin barrels and uses the U-100 scale, 100 units per mL. If the draw exceeds the barrel you picked, the drawing fills to the top and the line This draw is more than this syringe holds. appears.
