How Keel fits together

What are all these things?

A routine is what you take and when; Keel turns it into scheduled doses, logging writes a record, a program groups routines, and a supply profile is a vial that logged doses draw down.

A routine is what you take and when. Keel turns it into scheduled doses — one row per planned time on Today and the calendar. Logging a dose writes a record of what you actually did, at the time you say. A program groups routines into one block with its own timeline. A supply profile is a vial or stock that logged doses draw down. Everything in them is information you entered or accepted (a default such as the 9:00 AM start time) plus what Keel derives from it — dose times and the DUE / LATE / MISSED labels.

Routine

Created from + › New routine: a name, a Category, an Administration, Repeats, times or Any time of day, Duration, and an optional Dose kept "without interpretation — Keel never suggests amounts." Existing routines live under + › Manage routines, on a sheet titled Routines.

Scheduled dose

For each planned time Keel keeps one dose row: the time on the left, the circle mark, the name, and a grey dose · site line. A pending timed dose is Upcoming, then DUE for its first hour, LATE until 24 hours have passed, then MISSED; a pending any-time dose stays DUE all day, never Late. The word appears under the time only when it is not Upcoming or Done.

Record

Tapping the mark, Log done, or Log at a time… writes a log with a Taken at time; on time or late is judged from that time — a timed dose against its planned or Move time (a snooze is ignored), an any-time dose by calendar day: the same or an earlier day is Done, a later day Late. A skip is a record too. Records are history: Edit log adds a corrected version and Undo adds a reversal — nothing is overwritten or deleted.

Program

+ › New program groups routines you already track "into one block with its own timeline and history." Free runs one active program at a time; Pro runs programs side by side.

Supply profile

Tools › Vials & Inventory (Pro — on Free the row carries a Pro mark and opens the membership sheet): "Compatible logged doses draw down attached supply."

Tabs

Today, Calendar, the centre + (the create menu, not a tab), Insights, Tools; the gear on Today opens Settings.

Fictional day: Today’s header states the leading fact; scheduled doses sit in groups by state; the bar holds the four tabs and the create button.

This guide names Keel’s parts; it never says what a routine should contain, how much a dose should be, or when to take anything.
